Let's Hunt in Washington County which is located in North Central Kansas

bullet Whether you are bow hunting or rifle hunting for that Kansas Trophy Whitetail deer, turkey, pheasant or quail, let us be your favorite hunting spot.
bullet We offer some of the best Trophy Whitetail Deer, turkey, and upland bird hunting Kansas has to offer.

Mission Statement:

bullet To provide a relaxing, top quality hunting experience filled with the best of memories to last a lifetime.
bullet We are not a high pressure, take the money and move them through outfit.  We are limiting the number of hunts so that no hunter will be sitting in the same stand week after week during the hunting season.  Just like we pattern the deer, the deer also pattern the hunters.  We promise that you will not be staring out over a mowed hay field with no cover in sight.

Operator:

bullet Murray Dague has been hunting Kansas Trophy Whitetail Deer for the last 36 years.  His mom and dad were whitetail enthusiasts.  He started pushing draws and creeks before he was allowed to carry a gun.  He has hunted rifle, muzzleloader and archery seasons.  He usually knows where the deer are and their movements during the day.

Area:

bullet Located in North Central Kansas
bullet We have land on Indian Creek south of Washington, Kansas as well as other hunting properties on feeder drainages.  Two quarter sections are in tall grass CRP, pasture and creek with a couple patches of crop land and food plots.  As well as several thousand other acres that deer love to hide, sleep, feed and travel through.
bullet Kansas is known world-wide for its Trophy Whitetail Deer herd and Murray and his Mom have taken several.  We offer only semi guided hunts.  We will take you out the first day and show you the hunting property and help tweak any stands or setup your own.  We will explain the deer movement/habits for that property and the property lines that you will need to respect.  We recommend different hunting styles for different people during certain times of the season.

All Deer Hunts:

bullet All deer hunts are semi guided 5 1/2 day hunts.  We have stands and elevated huts placed in strategic locations around the property.  Ground blinds are available.  You may bring your own stands and we will help you set them in the perfect spot.  Bring your own safety system/safety belt.  Safety belts are mandatory in all tree stands.
bullet In 2008 there will be no landowner/tenant nonresident transferable permits. You will need to send in your non-resident application between May 1st and May 31st. The non-resident deer tag application will be available at the KDWP website May 1st (http://www.kdwp.state.ks.us/). The lottery drawing will be in the month of June and you will be notified by KDWP shortly after of your drawing status. The non-resident deer permit is $322.15 (includes a $21.15 nonrefundable application fee). A Kansas hunting license is $72.15 and can be purchased via the KDWP website. If you are applying for a firearms permit we are located in unit 8. If applying for an archery permit we are located in unit A3.

After the hunt:

bullet We will help you track, retrieve, and field dress your trophy.  We will deliver your deer to a local processing plant or we can hang it in the shed to cool until you are ready to leave.

Archery Hunts:

bullet October 1 – December 31
bullet Early October we see bachelor herds of bucks moving through the creeks and feeding on food plots and crop land. This soon changes as they establish territories and dominance. Archery hunts are 6 day semi-guided hunts. Tree stands, elevated huts and ground blinds are available. Safety belts are mandatory in all tree stands.
bullet $2000.00

Muzzleloader Hunts:

bullet Kansas muzzleloader hunts are similar to our archery hunts. Tree stands, elevated huts and ground blinds are available. Scopes are not allowed during the early muzzleloader season. Safety belts are mandatory in all tree stands.
bullet $2500.00

Rifle Hunts:

bullet $3000.00
bullet Kansas rifle hunts are available from tree stands, ground blinds, elevated huts, "spot and stalk" or still-hunting. All are very successful ways of taking home your Kansas trophy deer. You will be hunting Kansas Unit 8. Safety belts are mandatory in all tree stands.

Turkey Hunts:

bullet $500.00 (Two birds)  Permits available over the counter.
bullet These are three day hunts.
